Gargoyles Photo Diary

It's been awhile since a classic Chicago Treasure - so I'm going to pretty much repeat one of my favorites:
GARGOYLES

Let's see if we can figure out where Chicago's Gargoyle population 'hangs out.'

I agree, the Water Tower looks like it should have gargoyles, but I don't see any.

I'm sure there are some on the Tribune Tower, but they must be hidden behind the flying buttresses.

This guy was in a ceiling of the archway at the Cultural Center. Think he counts? Me, neither
Man. Maybe Chicago doesn't have any gargoyles. :(

Or maybe I should have looked at the Harold Washington Library first!
Last year The Gryffin and I found a lot of gargoyles in Hyde Park, and some other cement work on buildings, too. On a house:

A lot of the gargoyles were near Hull, the Zoology Building.

As The Gryffin said, "Welcome to Hogwarts."

Inside the gate were more.

But on the other side they got gargoyley, again.

There was a ring of them on one more tower.

It's gargoyle day! Show us yours! HEY!! I mean your gargoyle!
