Tuesday McCain Picture Show - Red Meat!

Tue Aug 19, 2008 at 06:48:32 PM PDT

Isn't it the sweetest mockery to mock our enemies?  - Sophocles

When I need some red meat, nothing replenishes my system better than some good old McCain mockery.  I don't go for that 'new kind of politics' shit.  When I get hungry, I need my politics with the blood still dripping off the meat as I shove it in my mouth like a starving beast.

So feel free to browse this collection of McCain mockery and feel free to add your own favorites below.

Lazy Tuesday McCain Mockery Picture Show

Tue Aug 12, 2008 at 07:45:44 PM PDT

Isn't it the sweetest mockery to mock our enemies?  - Sophocles

One of the funnest parts of this campaign has been the interesting and bizarre McCain photos/art that have surfaced on the internets.  While pieces mocking Obama tend to border on inane or even blatantly racist, the McSame pics are far more funny...and more damning.  This diary is for those types of pictures.  As a resource and for pure mindless entertainment, there's nothing like mocking your opponent.

Feel free to add your own favorites in the comments.

Sunday Talk - McCain's Flop Sweat

Sat Jul 12, 2008 at 10:29:56 PM PDT

Has a presidential candidate ever had a worse week than John McSame just had?  Drowning in flop sweat, his campaign called Americans "whiners", social security "a disgrace", and had at least a dozen more flubs.  All of which deserve to be duly mocked.  As do reporters who think McCain "won the week."

Friday Night McCain Picture Show

Fri Jul 11, 2008 at 07:27:40 PM PDT

Isn't it the sweetest mockery to mock our enemies?  - Sophocles

This week, we reached an important milestone in McSame mockery, when the Obama campaign called him "McSame" in their most recent radio ad.  It is truly a triumph of meme, one many of us have been mocking him on for quite some time.

The best part of this campaign IMO has been the interesting, funny and bizarre McCain photos/art that have surfaced on the internets.  While pieces mocking Obama tend to border on inane or even blatantly racist, the McSame pics are far more funny...and more damning.  This diary is for those types of pictures.  As a resource and for pure mindless entertainment, there's nothing like mocking your opponent.

Sunday Talk - The Lap Dog Express

Sat Jul 05, 2008 at 08:46:55 PM PDT

This week, the media continued to bend over backwards to repeat whatever narrative McCain wants them to.  He even refurnished his airplane with a VIP section for the most obedient reporters.

Top McCain aide Mark Salter said "‘only the good reporters’ would get to sit in the specially-configured section for interviews. ‘You’ll have to earn it,’ he said." So how can these reporters "earn" a seat? Never challenge the Senator,

What's up with the Obama campaign?

Mon Jun 30, 2008 at 10:24:40 AM PDT

Not one to be truly reactionary, but I have been wondering for the last two weeks what's up with the Obama campaign.  Perhaps someone here can help me process this.

MCCAIN: "Oh, I don’t remember. Now there’s Secret Service protection. But I’ve done it for many, many years. I don’t recall and frankly, I don’t see how it matters."

No issue is too wide for McSame to wrap his arms around every side of it.

Sat Jun 14, 2008 at 11:38:17 PM PDT

100 years ago this month, the United States held its first modern
Father's Day celebration in Fairmont, West Virginia.
In 2008, Presidential Nominee Barack Obama will spend it with his family at church, preaching the value and virtue of responsible fatherhood.  Many in the political world will spend it mourning the passing of Tim Russert.
